Quick Update on TGS Word from the ground is that the queues at the Square Enix booth are extremely long, largely due to the fact that visitors are allowed to view the special edition of Advent Children screened at the Venice Film Festival. However, Square Enix is making use of the Olympus Eye-Trek [FMD-700] to present the footage, a headset device that must be worn in order to view the movie. Thus, chances of it making its way online are slim, to say the least. Also, it has been confirmed that Advent Children will be released in Japan some time 2004. We will be translating the press conferences shortly. » More on the Olympus Eye-Trek [Japanese]... » Discuss in the forums... 24 Sep 2004 : Posted by Clorith |

Scan for new FFVII Game A scan from Shounen Jump for the new FFVII game has surfaced. The game has been titled Final Fantasy VII: Dirge Of Cerberus and features Vincent as the main character. It should be noted that Midgar is shown in ruins, indicating that the game will be a sequel, rather than a prequel. The story of Dirge of Cerberus takes place 1 year after Advent Children. Vincent, while in a town that was supposed to be peaceful now, is attacked by a mysterious group called "DC" (possibly Dirge of Cerberus). He also mentions a place where he will be meeting Reeve. Dirge of Cerberus is scheduled for a 2005 release on the PS2, though its genre has not been confirmed.
