Crisis Core Nibelheim Scene Issues Note - the following details do not spoil any story details from Crisis Core. The scene described is the same that has been presented in the original FFVII and Last Order. Some people have been experiencing a synchronization issue during the cut scene in Nibelheim where Zack confronts Sephiroth in the Mako Reactor. Zack shouts "Sephiroth" and the subtitles for "Why did you hurt the townspeople? Why did you hurt Tifa? Answer me Sephiroth!" appear instead, and from then on, all of the voice acting, subtitles, and movements are off sync. It continues for several sentences until a movie-quality cut scene of Sephiroth tearing Jenova off of the wall is shown, and then it goes back to normal. It's currently unknown if it's the game, or a PSP firmware update that's causing the issue, and we're trying to collect as much feedback as possible to find a fix for the problem. If you've experienced this problem, please post a response in the forum thread linked below, and let us know the model of PSP you're using, where you purchased your copy of Crisis Core, and if you needed to run the firmware update from the disk before starting the game. Even if you haven't run into the problem, your feedback would also be appreciated so that we can try to find a possible solution. **EDIT: There's a possibility that the issue only occurs with the 9.73 update from the disk, and that it might be solved by downloading the new 3.93 update from the website. More information as it becomes available.** » Discuss in the Forums 01 Apr 2008 : Posted by X-SOLDIER |
